About time

OK. For some reason this comic inspired a game idea. Here’s the pitch:
Imagine a portal-style game with puzzles, but to get through them you have to mix potions and consume them in the right order at the right times.
Lets say that a slow-motion potion keeps you from falling to your death, but it counteracts the effects of the super-speed potion you drank to get the distance you need to make the jump over the spikes. So instead, brew an anti-gravity potion, and an air-control potion which wont counteract each other.
It would have to be one long continuous series of puzzles, so that if you miss an essential ingredient you can go back and get it. The puzzles will have to be just as difficult backwards as they are forward.
I think if we add crafting, resource gathering, and simultaneous powers to a puzzle game like portal we could have something amazing.
